Family Pictures

It is amazing to me how long it can take to feed 4-6 tablespoons of milk to a tiny baby! Jenny and I are having a lot of fun learning about how to take care of our precious little girl. Part of the problem with feeding is that it is very hard for Jenny to bend her neck far enough to see whether Eliza is fully on and engaged or not. So far feeding has mostly been a 4-6 hand (2-3 people) affair, but this morning Jenny and Eliza were able to have a good breakfast all by themselves without help. We are all proud of their success!

Here are some picture from this morning. We finally decided we were actually home from the hospital and ready for some family pictures.

Figuring out all the ins and outs of having a new baby can take a while but in no time you guys will be pros! Eliza is so cute and tiny. It is hard for me to believe that my little Landon was smaller then that when was a newborn. They grow up so fast!

I found another friends' blog to look at! Nivette here, remember us? So I saw that you were pregnant when I was in Provo but I had no idea you were already ready to have the baby...and then I kept reading and realized she was almost a month early. That's explains it! Kind of funny..I was 18 days early and weighed 5 lbs. 9 oz. when I was born :) Such a tiny little girl, but looks like she's doing great. Congrats and enjoy the ride!

SO adorable! Congratulations on surviving thus far. I won't try to burst your bubble about it just getting peachier from here :) Just kidding, it's definitely worth it when you catch her eating a wasp at 11 months or see your two-year-old drinking BBQ sauce at 6am or hear, "Thank you for that delicious food!" You guys have a lot to look forward to. We miss seeing you out at the playground and chitchatting. Keep it up with the blog!

Jenny & Kyle, What a beautiful baby! She is so tiny, I can't wait to see her. Jenny, your dad was very excited about the baby, I am glad he told me about your blog. You will be a fantastic mom, I am excited for Eliza. :) Take every opportunity to get some rest and I will pray that Eliza is a fabulous sleeper. Enjoy her, they grow up so fast.
